This could be a Survivor Album

This album was produced by Frankie Sullivan of Survivor. It went to cut-out soon after it was released. However it is a great melodic adventure, with 'Standing in the Line Of Fire' as the best song on the album.

Familiar Roots Rock

This album was a pleasant surprise when I first heard it. It's really a true roots rock hidden gem. It sounds like a cross between Tom Petty, John Cougar, and Bruce Springsteen. The band is very tight with some truly great guitar work and some memorably, hummable melodies. Great lyrics as well. Standout cuts include Standing In The Line Of Fire and One Way Out. I'm not sure what's become of the Lonesone City Kings, but for this album, they were sure pretty good . . .
