An easy to understand book with good detail. Due to it's age (1973-35 years old), many of the supporting photos are in black and white and are very dated. Some of the photos look like they're from the '40s or 50's. Newer home repair materials, tools, products, and methods are not covered. All in all, not a bad book to get a basic understanding of what's required in many home repairs and simple construction projects.

This is an excellent book! Even if you're not the "Do It Yourself" type, this book may help you understand what's involved in the repair process. Imagine a book that will help you determine if you're being taken advantage of by the repair person!
