David Attenborough is the best science populizer in the subject of biology bar none! He rates, and deserves to rate, up with Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov (even Isaac rated David's work highly). Find this book. Read it and add 'Life on Earth,''The Living Planet,' and 'The Private Life of Plants' to your permanent library.

'The trials of life' is one of the several books written by David Attenborough on similar topic. The book is about living beings (except humans). The book is colorful and it will be nice to keep it in a nice bookshelf. Some of the paragraphs are dull. This is compensated to some extent by excellent color photographs. Some of the pages are sad. Some pages give rise to curiosity. I wish that you will never see this book. By S.B.Ota.
