The magic eye images and surealistic illustration only add to this book. The only thing keeping this book away from a whopping 5 stars is David Worsick writing technique. It's as if during the narration he is writing to an adult audience, but during dialouge he tries to appeal to children. His wealth of knowledge on the subject of midevil times, though, partialy make up for it.
