The book contains a lot of images. It is very complete as far as visuals go, though it lacks a bit on inormation about them. Therefore, you are left in the midst of confusion wondering "How did this come about?" If your priority is visuals verses info, it is a great book...for me, as far as impressionsm goes, I like to learn a great deal about the paintings. I'm not content with just looking at them, but I am very picky when it comes to fine art. Nevertheless, I rate the book 4 stars, because the inmense amount of images compensates the lack of information. Its a great book to have for reference. I still recomend it.
